One of Hawaii's oldest traditions is the creation of
Hawaiian Salt, Pa'akai.
On the Island of Kauai in a small town called Hanapepe this tradition lives on.
The tradition of salt farming is passed on through generations.
It is not sold in stores only given away with the utmost love and respect.
This site is dedicated to educate and preserve that
piece of Hawaiian Culture~
